The Grove Street Gang, of which the protagonist is a member, dresses in green. The gun has another bonus apart from the silencer: the green color scheme. That includes eliminating opponents with a silenced pistol or knife blow.įor that reason, we thought the USP-S Monster Mashup would suit Carl “CJ” Johnson, the protagonist. Unlike previous games, in GTA: San Andreas the protagonist ceased to be a super-powerful guy who always bulldozes in and learned to act stealthily at times. The plot revolves around the confrontation between street gangs and corrupt police, as well as the war between these gangs. When creating this world, the developers drew inspiration from several real locations: Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. The events of GTA: San Andreas are set in 1992. At the time of the game’s plot, the Tec-9 was a thing from the future, so this finish with neon lights and geometric pattern nicely underlines the weapon’s novelty.

There’s also the Tec-9 in the game, but for some reason, it’s considered a submachine gun along with the MAC-10 and MP5.ĭespite all this confusion, we did manage to find a skin that feels like Tommy would want to use it. Bottom line, a fantabulous finish that matches the game’s setting. That said, the SSG 08 Turbo Peek is perfect for this selection: it combines neon lights and patterns evocative of Fast and Furious. In GTA: Vice City, the main character had to engage in a whole bunch of activities, street racing among them. Tommy could well use something along the lines of the MAC-10 Disco Tech purely because of nostalgia. Fact is, he got in jail at a time when disco was a craze all over the world. Nevertheless, for the main character, disco was probably the music of his youth. MAC-10 Disco Techĭisco enjoyed its heyday in the 70s, and by 1986 - that’s when the plot of GTA: Vice City sets off - the music genre was already living out its last moments of glory. The M249 Midnight Palm certainly deserves a spot in this selection.
However, it does feature its successor, the M249. Unfortunately, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive doesn’t feature the M60. He used an actual helicopter with a huge M60 machine gun on board.

The skin literally screams: “I am the epitome of the glamorous 80s.” While Tommy’s adventures don’t exactly lay claim to the title of “glamorous” at first glance, he actually sponsored a rock band and attended yacht parties, among other things. If we were to choose one Counter-Strike: Global Offensive skin per game, the choice for Vice City would be unequivocal: it’s the Glock-18 Vogue. We’ll be looking for skins that would look great in this guy’s hands, factoring in which particular guns he used during his adventures, of course. Tommy Vercetti, the game’s protagonist, was obviously inspired by the criminal action heroes from the 80s. Since this is the first game chronologically, we’ll start with it.
